Getting the design details right can increase your enjoyment and the value of your home.

This is especially true with kitchens and it's safe to say that home life revolves around the kitchen most days. Which makes it such an important space in your house to get right, in terms of flow, space, light and storage capacity. But this element of your project can be complicated. There are a lot of options to choose from and a range of technical designs that need to be coordinated - for example plumbing, lighting.

That’s where I come in, this package will guide you through all the technical details and help avoid costly mistakes, while also ensuring that these are functional and beautiful spaces.

If you are happy with how your existing kitchen functions, but feel like it needs a new look. Or if you are looking to design a new kitchen from scratch, then my Kitchen Detail Design Package is the ideal starting off point to explore the correct design for you.

I will provide impartial (independent of suppliers) advice , and design your kitchen layout as well as guiding you on the choice of style, countertops, finishes, accessories and colour schemes for your kitchen.

I will help you with selecting complementary floor finishes, paint colours and feature lighting as required

The Detail Design Packages seamlessly fill the gaps between architecture and interior design. If you have already begun the design process, I can work alongside other architects to provide these drawings and can tailor my drawings to sit into their design documentation.

    • Initial briefing meeting in your home

    • Survey of your existing kitchen space

    • Proposed layout of your new kitchen based on the brief given at the meeting (1 option provided)

    • An online presentation to talk you through the proposed design. We will be in touch within 3 - 4 weeks to arrange this meeting.

    • One design revision.

      • This will be a 30 min follow up call to discuss the initial proposal and any changes you would like. This consultation takes place within 2 weeks of the design presentation.

      • The final revised presentation will be developed in-line with your comments and emailed to you.

  • You will receive the following by email after the presentation meeting:

    • A set of dimensioned 2D drawings. Including:

      • Proposed plans

      • Proposed elevations

      • Proposed lighting layout

    • A 3D of the proposed design.

    • A mood board document illustrating proposed finishes. Including:

      • Recommended style and colours for the kitchen cabinets, countertop and splashback.

      • Paint colours for walls and woodwork within the kitchen

      • Recommended selection of taps, basins, appliances, handles and accessories.

      • Flooring suggestions

      • Feature lighting suggestions

      • Dining table/ Chair or bar stool suggestions

    • This is a design package so there is no tender, project or onsite management included in this service.

    • Although I will work with your budget in mind, I cannot provide cost estimates as these are changing all the time and are outside my realm of specialty.
